How anonymity works
When you press SUBMIT, exactly three things are stored: the job title you chose, the salary you entered, and the time of submission. That is the whole record.
There is no account, no email, no cookie tied to the data, and your IP address is never written to the dataset; it is used briefly for rate-limiting only, the same as on every other form on this site. Nothing stored can identify you or your employer. See the privacy notice for the full detail.
If you type a job title that is not in the list, it is reviewed by a human before it can appear as an option for future contributors, so the list stays clean and nobody can plant junk in it.
What your contribution builds
Most Irish salary figures come from recruiter guides and CSO averages: useful, but broad. Real submissions from real payslips build something sharper, a benchmark grounded in what people are actually paid rather than what surveys estimate.
Results will be published in aggregate once there is enough volume for the numbers to be meaningful. Until then, the salary guides cover 30 salary points, 63 jobs and 13 sectors with full take-home breakdowns at 2026 rates.
Frequently asked questions
Is adding my salary anonymous?
Yes. Only your job title, your salary and a timestamp are stored. Your name, email address, IP address and employer are never recorded, and there is no account or sign-up.
What happens if my job title is not in the list?
Type it under Other. It is checked against known titles to catch close matches, and genuinely new titles are reviewed before they appear in the list for future contributors.
How often can I contribute?
Twice in any 180-day period, so you can update your figure after a pay change. Repeat submissions beyond that are politely declined.
What is the data used for?
It builds an independent benchmark of real Irish salaries. Results will be published in aggregate once there is enough volume to be meaningful; individual submissions are never shown.
